The Battle is Not Mine It’s the Lord’s!

So many times in the life of a believer we endeavor to help God out by giving him our assistance in working our situation out. God is in control of our affairs and he does not need our assistance in working out our situations. One simply does not have to defend himself from every lie that is told. Adherance to the Word of God is far more important than trying to defend oneself against or lie or even the truth. Vengence belongs to God and not me. We are to pray for our enemies. Let’s pray for those who have afflicted us in some way. We should leave the getting even to our God. It’s Not Your Battle It’s the Lord’s! Take the words of the Psalmist who was confident that his God had a way to deal with lies, schemes, and plots against the people of God.
Psalm 63 verse 9-11-But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.  But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
