The Church of God in Christ’s General Assembly overwhelmingly chose Bishop Charles E. Blake in a called for election for Presiding Bishop of the Church! The General Assembly of The Church of God in Christ is made up of the credential holders of the church. He will finish the term of the late Presiding Bishop Gilbert E. Patterson! Bishop Blake has held the office of International Presding Bishop of The Church of God in Christ since the death of Bishop Patterson in March 2007. Bishop Blake garnered a total of 2,986 votes out of a total of 3,746 votes cast. He won with right at 79.7% of the total votes! May Bishop Blake be Abundantly Blessed and Supremely Favored by God as he leads our church into the days ahead.
