One of the greatest weapons in Satan’s arsenal is self pity. He loves for believers to have the why is everyone picking on me syndrome. The enemy’s greatest efforts go into isolating believers and speaking words of doubt into their minds about God’s plan for their lives. Child of God you are not the only one that’s going through. Going through trials, tribulations, afflictions, and persecutions are facets in the lives of a Christian that will simply come with the territory! You are not the only believer that’s sitting in the hot seat!
2 Timothy 3 verse 12-Yea, and all that will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Psalm 34 verse 19-Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. (We all will go through, but God will bring us out!)
Hebrews 9 verse 27-And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgement. (Death is a constant with all men-The rich and the poor-The believer and the unbeliever-The strong and the weak-We all have to deal with death, the death either of those we cherish, or even our own death)
Job 14 verse 1-Job’s Lament-Man that is born of a woman, is of a few days and full of trouble. -(Includes everyone including sinners-Summed up our days on the earth will be swift and full of trouble)
1 Corinthians 10 verse 13-There is no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Someone else has been, will be, or is currently in the same position that you are in. You are not the only believer that is going through. Gratefully, we serve a God that simply Knows How Much We Can Bear! We also serve a God that delivers time after time. The same God that delievered your grandmother in the thirties, is the same God who delivered your mother in the seventies, is the same God that delivered you in the nineties, is the very same God that can deliver your children in 2007. We serve a God that is not a respecter of persons nor do we serve a wishy washy God. It is no secret what God can do, what he has done for others he will do the very same for you! You are not the only one that is going through, just remember it simply comes with the territory! Don’t cry in the trial because God already has your way of escape planned!
