Life Lesson #1
Proverbs 13 verse 20-He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.-Wow can this be any clearer? Basically, this is saying that you will mirror the company that you keep! Can one expect to go to the next level when one spends all of his time with those who aren’t seeking to move ahead? This scripture beckons us to make wise choices with our associations. It is hard for the ways of those that you surround yourself with to not rub off on you. You should want individuals in your life whose ways would propel you towards your goals, and success in life. I am not saying you have to go out today and X-Out some of your life-long friends, but if they are holding you back from life’s best then maybe you should. Taking a journey with others into the realm of daily fool’s classes is not a wise decision!
A great part of your upward climb to success is the associations with others that you decide to keep! Associate with those who would make you better down the road, and not bitter down the road! Take a walk with the right kind of folks, it will surely pay off for you! Walking with fools can ruin your life! Riding with fools who make bad decisions one time is all that it takes to ruin your life! Take this walking guide from me! Walk with those that can walk with you all the way into your next level and beyond! Walk with those that are already where you are desiring to be! Your stepping with the wrong crowd, can burst you through the gates of success, or defeat! Choose to step with the crowd that is headed for success! If you are the greatest person in your circle, then you need to find another circle to frequent with! Those that you surround yourself with can be a blessing, or a curse! Can you think of any friend whose value is worth you being cursed for? If so, then you need to take some real time to reassess your life!
Life Lesson #2
Proverbs 14 verse 23- In all labor there is profit, but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury-King James Version
Proverbs 14 verse 23-All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty-New International Version
Has there ever been a clearer way to say that talk is cheap? This scripture gives you the nuts and bolts of having a profitable life. You will not acquire one by just talking about it! The way to obtain an advantage, benefit, or a gain is through hard work. It is not smoke and mirrors folks! The old adage that there is no free lunch would definitely apply here! It Will Take Work! The gift of gab will get you only so far! How many “I Am Going To’s” will you utter? Is Your Speech Laden With Things That You Will Accomplish In The Future? That is awesome, but those things will not come unto you decide to make those things come true by working for them! Much success in life comes from that nasty word called “work”! If you want to gain an advantage on others, even those who are more talented then outwork them! A man that works while others spout out words, usually find himself winning the day! Good Intentions/Good Words That Espouse Success-Work=Nothing! Remember that formula! After a while you need to stop talking and start working! Your potential will be assessed by others by what you do, and not by what you say! Ouch! Now Go Work Your Plan, & Don’t Just Talk About It!
